SLJ - Wk 2 - Day 1 Dear Jacinda

Today's blog is about writing a letter to Jacinda the Prime Minister.
On this blog post I had to write about what's important to me and tell Jacinda what I want her to do about it.

I really like the idea that I came up with.  It is so cool to have a kid Prime Minister.
Do you think you would vote for me?

  1. Kia ora Lucy,

Great job on another really well done blog post. Keep them coming my friend!

What a fantastic letter you have written with a great idea about being the kid Prime Minister. I like the poster you had made to present your letter.
What do you think you would do for our countries children if you were the kid Prime Minister?

Until next time, happy blogging :)

    1. Aloha Emma,

Thank you (Mahalo) for your nice comment.

I would talk to the Prime Minister about getting more toys for kids. If you are homeless you should at least have one toy.

I would also like to say that children shouldn't be homeless anymore. I think that if you are homeless as a kid you will be homeless as a teenager.
I would tell the government to sell things to make tons of money to give to the homeless children so they can get a house to live in.

What do you think of my idea?

      Aloha
      Lucy

  2. Hi Lucy,

I like that you are thinking of others and how we can support them to have a better life. I can see that you are really kind.

What do you think they could sell that wouldn't affect others in New Zealand to pass onto the homeless children? Who could live with the children in houses if they were bought and care for the tamariki?

Until next time, happy blogging :)
