 Today I am showing you some more writing, 

If you didn't know writing is my 2nd favourite subject, art is my 1st. 

What is your favourite subject?  I wonder what yours are? 

Well what we had to do was:

 get into groups, 

and write  a paragraph as a group, 

for a  small recount  from Orana Super Zoo story, 

that we had planned as a class.

Amazing Catrolical Speech

                                                         Hey guys welcome back to my blog!

Today, I am showing you my maths again! If you didn't know I am doing number patterns.

Number patterns are very cool, You can do many things with it. For example you can do a pattern like this: 1134 then you repeat 1134, that is one way to put it but there is many other ways you can do it.

Why: We did this because number patterns is part of maths and maths we were doing number patterns!

How?: How we did this was very cool we had  machines that we filled in and all you had to do was + and -

When:  We did this at the starting of the week because every week we normally do a new thing every week.

My Maths Fraction Understanding

Hey Bloggers! Welcome back to my blog Today I am showing you my maths fractions. Math fractions are fun my favourite is the number line one. How about you? Do you know what a math fraction is well if yo don't then you might wanna know what it is. 

I will show you the example of a fraction here, what we were told to do was to solve this.

Wanna know how then here you go there is a photo this is the easiest and the hardest fractions that i've done. We had to put the fractions where they would be on the numberline.

Reading - THE LAST STRAW

Welcome Back

       

Hey Bloggers! For reading I have been doing the last straw workbook this week!  Let me tell you what it is about. Well today I did reading with the teacher  this is my 2nd time of this type of learning. You are maybe thinking that its about straw but no its not.  It is about pranks and if they go to far they can hurt peoples feelings because it can cross the line and make people sad.              

Let me tell you some more because I don't think that's that much. The Last Straw is a great story, I will show you the rest on  my story web!!!

Maths 3D shapes!

Welcome back bloggers!

Hello, Btw Lucy is back! Today I have done some more maths! But this time I have done 3D shapes, cool right? Soon I will show you some screenshots soon of my 3D shape maths so far. 

3D shapes can be found everywhere they can mostly found in buildings. I will tell you some of the shapes then the screenshots it will be fun!

 One of the shapes I learned today was a cubiod. Its a 3D shape but with rectangles. Oh, almost forgot here's the screenshots! I had to predict what shape the nets would make.

Hey Bloggers, Today I am showing you some maths because i've  shown you my reading and writing so I think it's time for math. If you haven't seen my writing or reading then let me tell you the names. For reading the post is called "Lucy's MORE WORK!!"... And the writing one is called "Lucy's - Narrative writing".. Thats some of my things I need to say if  you haven't check both of them out.

 Yesterday and Today I have been working on a maths book. And in thats maths book I have been doing "Statistics'" If you want to see the work I did then why not you have a look?

For the past day's I have been doing alot of cool reading thing Like new workbooks doing reading diagrams and all. But the real question is, What am I doing this all on? if you didn't know I like reading and writing a lot. But I have finished doing one of my work books aka my Stingless Bee workbook. Now I am looking at Giant Prickly Stick insects so I would like to show you it. If you don't know what they are then take a look I will be showing you my Diagram I know it's not the best but here it is. Enjoy!

Lucy's - Narrative Writing

Hey bloggers!

Today I am showing you more of my amazing work just this is not about my silent reading book. In the past days I had done some cool work I would like to should you all It's called, Narrative Writing.

Right! You proberley don't know what it is I will tell you right now. It's pretty simple its a made up story nothing else. 

 Narrative writing can help you if you need some creativity then why not you try it? Wait! If you don't want creativity there is other ways to say it. 

Here's some other ways to say it like if your bored you can try narrative writing. I will show you some screenshots of they work I did for narrative writing from the past days. Look below and you will see the screenshots that I took.

Well that's all I had to show but there was some challenging bits like the words to choose for the blog post. If you can I would really be happy if you gave me some feedback if I missed anything. If you haven't tried  narrative writing then why not you try it now?

Hi Im Lucy today I am telling you about charlotte's web it is my silent reading book.

 Charlotte's web is cool because there are amazing animals like pigs and geese, maybe I should tell you about it more. There is a girl called Fern she has a brother Avery,  Fern loves her pig called Wilbur. Wilbur has a two friends Fern and Charlotte the spider he loves both of this friends.

Wk 2 Day 2 Create a monster

Todays challenge was to create my own monster. 

These are my monsters that I made using rocks from our farm, and things from my art supply.

I hope you like them.

Wk 2 Day 1 Artist challenge

Todays challenge was to 'Let the masters inspire your own piece of art'.  

I chose the artist Romero Britto to inspire me.

These are my steps that I did to make my painting:

1.   I chose my favourite toy

2.  I sketched out what I wanted to draw with a pencil

3.  I used a vivid over the pencil markings

4.  I drew lines where I was going to put the colours

5.  I painted everything inside the lines

This is what I learnt doing the challenge:

I learnt to mix colours, my favourite was to mix blue and pink because it made purple.  

I also learnt that you should paint slowly while spreading paint., using downward strokes.

Scrubbing the paint on the painting, just made a mess of the brushes too.

 Lastly I learnt to not have too much paint on the brush or it will go everywhere.

One thing I would do differently is not to add glitter to my painting, it just covered to much of the cats face.

Wk 1 Day 4 and 5 My Cloth-riffic task.

For the next 2 days I had to think about how many items of clothing I can put on my body at one time.  Clothing items must be the right item for the body part, eg hats on heads, jackets on torso, shoes on feet etc. Items must be fully on.
When I am finished this task I need to take a photo`of what I look like and blog about my experience.

Day one I thought I would have some fun in the clothes I was in.  This fun involved riding my bike through a huge muddy puddle!!!

Here is a video and some pictures of me riding my bike.  Have you biked through a large puddle before?  Did you look like me when you had finished?

This was my clothes after my bike riding.  A perfect time for a clothes challenge now.

Day 2 challenge day:

It is now challenge day which is Friday! I decided to do the challenge in the morning, because it's not so hot. I think I could put on 60 items.

This is what I looked like after:

My dad kept the tally and my mum dressed me up.  I felt very weird and I felt like I was going to fall over with so many clothes on. I could put more on but I was to hot and uncomfortable.   I am proud of myself because I put on more than I thought I could of.

Wk 1 Day 2 and 3 Stacking challenge

My teacher Mrs Taylor has given us ANOTHER challenge.  In this challenge we have to stack as many items as we can alphabetically from top to bottom or bottom to top.  We are then to take a photo of the result and write a blog post about it.

This was a two day challenge. I used day one to plan things out like my list, and on day two I completed the challenge.

FUN SUPER DOOPER THINGS!

Welcome back to my blog post!

Today i am showing you ISPACE. First thing is, Do you know what ISPACE is? If you don't know what it is i'll show you.  ISPACE is sometimes adverbs if you don't know what adverbs are i can give you a example down below this. iSPACE is a great way to start our sentences.

Before doing this I had to learn what ISPACE was. I did my best and after a few days later I learnt how to do it. Maybe you should try ISPACE?

Hi, In my school I have a  new classroom and some new furniture as well. My class learned many
 new things like cool new apps like spray paint name apps, I also learned about  avatar maker Its so cool you can make you can make a person yourself even like in my photo. Its very amazing. Last of all i have some goals i want to do by this year I hope you like it,  I made a post have a look.
